Isabella Dicken Elementary School

All of our Grade Six students participate in Band, which takes place at Fernie Secondary School in the Band room. Students are encouraged to select an instrument, which is available to rent for a monthly fee. Ms. Bassett is the Band teacher at FSS and she instructs our Grade Six students and helps them to learn how to play their instrument and how exciting it is to be part of a band. The Grade 6 Band performs at concerts over the course of the year and we are always excited to see how quickly our students progress and learn to play their new instruments!
