Isabella Dicken Elementary School

Isabella Dicken Elementary is very proud of its extra-curricular athletics program.  The aim of the SD 5 Elk Valley Schools' program is to foster the development of character and citizenship, to create good relationships among the students and schools and to provide an opportunity for athletic competition. Elemenatry schools from Jaffray, Fernie, Sparwood and Elkford all participate in the sports program which includes the following sports: soccer, volleyball, basketball, cross country running and track & field.  At Isabella Dicken Elementary we also run junior (grades 4 & 5) development programs that allow younger students the chance to have fun while learning basic skills in sports such as volleyball and basketball.
