How to Get Started with Microsoft Teams for Education
Microsoft Teams is an Office 365 tool that is fully supported in SD5. There are multiple ways to access and use Teams - desktop, mobile device, or through the web using your child's Office 365 school account. For full functionality, we recommend downloading and using the desktop version of Teams. Please read the following documentation, starting with the Quick Reference Guide for Parents to become familiar with Teams for Education.

Logging into Microsoft Teams from a School or District Website:
Another way to access Teams is through a student's Office 365 account using a school or district website.
Students can log in using their usual login credentials from their school website by clicking Utility Links and then Office 365.
LOGIN CREDENTIALS
Username: StudentNumber@sd5.bc.ca (i.e. 1234567@sd5.bc.ca)Password: Their usual password they use to login on an SD5 computer.
Please be aware, this is NOT the full version of Teams. For live class meetings, we recommend using the desktop version of Teams.
